My Heart You've Forever Won

I made some mistakes in the video, but here's the original poem that I wrote:

God showed me a vision An older version of myself on a mission Then I shook my head and said, "No!" I was too bent, too bruised, too broken I was down on my knees saying, "Please, please, God, why do I feel like I'm not worth it?" Then there You were with Your arms wide open Waiting to wrap me in Your embrace Filling me with Your loving grace Grace that saved me from the darkness in this place You gave Your One and Only Son to lay down His life for us Us that have defied Your Word, but still loved us Forgave us for our sins and transgressions Washed away our guilt and humiliation With the blood of the Lord Jesus as He called at the cross to redeem us But it was Your great love for us Your love, Your unconditional love Love that's this indescribable and uncontainable everything Love that we cannot fathom its profundity For You are a God who loves unconditionally and endlessly A God who loves faithfully A God whose love will last for eternity The moment I accepted Your gift The old me died along with my sins and transgressions Long gone were my guilt and humiliation Therefore, I am no longer bound by the chains of brokenness nor insecurity Nor lust Nor gluttony Nor greed Nor idleness Nor anger Nor pride Nor envy No longer am I bound to the ways of this world For I am now bright, polished and new I am loved I am free I am a child of God The daughter of the Most High, King of kings and Lord of lords I tell you now, my brothers and sisters It is not because of anything that I did, But because of what He has already done So, thank You, Lord Jesus My heart You've forever won
