I had to do a blog for my English class last year and here's what I wrote...

Once upon a time, wait... scratch that.
I wouldn't want to start this blog with something from a fairy tale. LOL. Anyway, people might not believe me if they read this, but... whatever. The thing is, the landlord told us that the people who used to live at my house were a couple of scientists and I thought, "Woah! That's so cool!!!" So while my parents and brother were moving our things inside the house, I went outside to see the backyard and that's when I saw a large egg right in the centre. I went near it, because I got curious then I thought that it could be a synthetic model of some creature's egg that got left behind by the scientists who used to live here. I picked it up and brought it inside the house. I put it on the table for a couple of seconds to get some wipes, so I can clean it up, but then when I got back it started cracking. I grabbed my phone from my back pocket and set the camera, a few seconds later... Monty was born!

The Advantages and Disadvantages of Having Monty as a Pet:
There are various advantages and disadvantages of having a T-Rex as a pet. I think one that really got to me was when Monty... let's just say he taught the bad guy a lesson. The thief didn't know we had a T-Rex in our backyard, which was good considering that no one would ever come and bother us again. Besides, he must have lost a limb or two - OOPS! - did I just say that? Never mind. Moving on... Monty roars when I get home from college or from my work placement. It's kind of a routine for both of us. He roars, I come to him, spend time with him and when he knows I'm about to fall asleep he curls his tail around me and nudges my head to lie down on his body. He's a softy, really. Don't tell him I told you that. LOL.
Disadvantages... Hmmm. Well, we spent a lot of money building his own room. We had to, because I didn't want him to sleep outside in the cold. I know I treat him like a baby, but he's my baby. He eats A LOT, too. Like... A LOT! Which also cost us loads. He roars and snores so loud! I know our neighbours have had enough, but they're too scared to complain about Monty. I do try to tell him to take it down a notch, but he can be very stubborn sometimes. Last but definitely not the least, I've always been bummed about him having smaller arms now that he's grown bigger. He can't hug me back anymore! Awww. :(

Even if he can be a bit vicious sometimes I still love him. I think he only chooses the people that he wants to be good to. He has instincts and I don't even try to control him, but he knows when I'm upset about something that he's done. I think we have that bond, since I've taken care of him the minute I picked him up from my backyard. Despite his flaws and all the disadvantages of having him as a pet, I can't help loving him for being sweet and playful. Also, he's not only my pet, but he's also my best friend. He's pulled me out of boredom, stress and sadness ever since I came here in England. If only you had a pet and a friend just as good as Monty, you would know how I feel.
Oops! I think I've gone sentimental. Hihi. I hope you enjoyed this part of my blog. Monty says thank you for getting to know him. Bye! *Monty is waving his little arms at you*
